CMC at FOAID 2023: Timeless by Design

CMC arrived at FOAID 2023 with a claim to prove rather than a slogan to hang: timeless, classic. The task was to build a room that made architects and designers stop, slow down, and put their hands on the material. Not a pitch — a place to wander into and stay a while.

The palette held to warm ivory, edged in gold, with the collections lit so the stone did the talking. Large surface panels and curated sample walls anchored the space; digital displays sat beside open conversation areas where visitors could compare a texture against a finish and then turn to the team to ask what it could become. Over two days, the booth worked less like a stand and more like a studio — material discovery running straight into real design talk.
