A Throne Room For Two Hundred

Before Season 3 aired, two hundred devotees walked a red carpet guarded by fire and a dragon's skull.

About

JioHotstar wanted the Season 3 premiere of House of the Dragon to belong to the people who'd bled for every episode. Not a screening. A summons. The task was to make two hundred of the most obsessive fans in the country feel they'd crossed into Westeros itself, and to make the rest of the world watch them do it.

The centrepiece was a dragon skull rendered in three dimensions, jaw wide, big enough to stop a person mid-step. Live flame flanked a red carpet stamped with a Targaryen sigil. In one corner, an oracle turned custom-illustrated tarot cards and read prophecies to guests who leaned in; cosplayers moved through the room in full house regalia, and for one night the mythology held weight you could stand next to.

Highlights — Over thirty press houses filed the story and a million reactions moved across digital, matching the franchise's flagship events staged anywhere in the world.
