Roar Louder

Six regions, six animals, three days — and a company that walked in to find its own totem waiting.

About

Last year Rentokil PCI found a word: Roar. This year they wanted it louder, and they wanted it in two places at once — 400 in the room, more than 600 watching from screens, all connected through a website that could talk back. The challenge was making a hybrid crowd feel like one crowd.

Each of the six regions was cast as an animal, matched to the traits it wore, and marched in on a choreographed entry that made an arrival feel like a verdict. Guests came off the road into a Goan welcome — the mala, the shell garland, the hotel doing the work before the agenda started. The website carried a photobooth and a live chat so the remote crowd had hands, not just eyes. By the theme video, and by the neon DJ night that followed, the room had earned the title.

Highlights — Four hundred in the room, and every one of them walked out with a trophy.
